Vampire Academy

The Vampire Academy book is the first book in a series of vampire books by Author Michelle Read. I have read these series quite recently and from the beginning fell in love with them. If I were to rate Vampire academy I would say about a 8 on a 1 to 10 scale. However the rest of the series would be rated as a 9. I was hooked in from the beginning of this book. And I finished 3 books in 1 and a half days (Which proves they are wonderful).
The story revolves around the main characters Rose and her place as a Guardian of Lissa. Rose and Lissa are best friends. However Lissa is what you call a royal Vampire from a Royal Family.

There is a bad type of vampire called Strigoi. Which are wild, crazy, kill-everything type of vampire. They are always after Moroi.

Moroi is a peaceful type vampires. They are usually lean, small and blonde. They all have gifts too, magical gifts. Moroi must attend the academy to learn about magic and their special gift. Moroi are usually royals, but there are some who are not.

Guardians are they protectors of Moroi. All Guardians must got to the Academy to train to fight the Strigoi and protect their Moroi.

Rose and Lissa escaped the academy but are forced to go back in the beginning. Rose is so behind on her training that she is forced to have a after-school-fighting-trainer Dmitri. Dmitri is a hunky older Guardian who is well-respected around the world. Rose instantly falls for Dmitri but she keeps her focus on Lissa. Lissa has been having troubles with her mind and thinking process. Most Moroi get there gifts in the academy but for Lissa it's a different story. Her gift is still unknown. When danger strict Lissa is the one being targeted, considerng she is the only one left alive from her High Royal family. Rose is the one to be there for the saving. Also you deal with the drama of the academy students and the feelings and tension growing between Rose and Dmitri.

Vampire Academy is a MUST READ. And when you finish it, look for "Frost Bite", "ShadowKiss" and the newest "Blood Promise".

Well it has been along time since I've been on here! However I have decided "Again" to keep up with my blog. So I hope everyone can get back into the groove up keeping up there blogs. I hope everyone will read my blog and comment on it!! --Now Kris says he wants to try to keep up but it is hard bc are internet has been acting up and we are very busy.

I am interested to hear about Shepdawg's story--If he and his wife decided to have a baby. And I am interested in anyones new stories or updates.

Well I have many movies to update everyone on!! Me and Kris have a wall of bookcases full of movies at our apartment. So I know I have more then enough to update everyone on. I have new books to update everyone on too.

Me and my Hubby decided last night to start something new with our movie collection and book collection. We decided to mix things up a bit. We wrote all the names down of our books and movies, and we are going to start drawing them out of a can lol. The name of the movie drawn out is the one we will watch, focus on, and write a review about that night. And the same for the books. I am drawing them out and reading the book drawn one by one. Sound confusing?? But we have such a huge collection of new books and movies that its so hard to pick which one to watch or read.....so this is our method to help us get through all the stuff.

I'll prepare some new reviews over the night okies?? I have plenty.

Last nights episode........Grace discovered that her New partner Abbi isn't really a cop but a detective from internal affairs. Grace and Abbi argue and of course the whole team gets brought in on it. Maybe Ham and Grace will be back together again after all?? The team works on a new lead with a murder-drug case which leads them to their old partner and things have change a little between them and him. The man on death role tries to kill him self! When is Grace ever going to get around to helping him?

I am going to school. But Ill be on later! May do a movie review!

Movie Review

Now everyone has most likely seen this movie. But yesterday was the first day I had ever seen it. Guess I am catching up on older movies. I had heard that it was slow and that it wasn't scary or that it was just plain dumb. I don't think it was scary [Even though I am paranoid anyway so anything is alittle scary to me].... It wasn't slow. In my opinion I thought the movie was actually interesting. If your like me--I am a deep thinker. I kept thinking about me in that girls shoes. What would I be doing or How would I feel. Which makes a movie much more interesting.
Plus the movie said "TRUE STORY"...Which made me think OMG some girl has survived this and is making a movie off it.

I would say it is a BUY movie. Any opinions?

Basically the movie is about:
A young couple James and Kristin. Who spend the night at a family country home. However things not only get tense between the couple but the couple is soon terrorized by 3 psychos who break into the house and destroy any ways of escape. The couple trys to out smart the masked terrorize rs but only end up getting captured and hurt. The movie ends with a intense ending and leaves you thinking!!
You got to see it to make your own opinion.

Kris bought me a new digital camera that allows me to put videos on youtube! So here in the next few days me and him may work on some videos! :) Or at least try.
I have busy the last few days with college.......Trying to get prepared for the fall. But I'll be back on with a movie review!
